Call for Paper

Objectives

International Computer Symposium (ICS) is one of the largest joint international IT symposiums held in Taiwan. Founded in 1973, it is intended to provide a forum for researchers, educators, and professionals to exchange their discoveries and practices, and to explore future trends and applications in computer technologies. The biennial symposium offers a great opportunity to share research experiences and to discuss potential new trends in the IT industry. This year, ICS 2012 is held at National Dong Hwa University (NDHU) in Taiwan on December 12-14, 2012.

Paper Submission

All submissions will be handled electronically. Papers must be written in ENGLISH and not exceed 10 pages in the format of LNCS. The instructions of electronic submission are posted on http://ics2012.ndhu.edu.tw/ together with related style files. Submitted papers must describe work not previously published. They must not be submitted simultaneously to another conference with refereed proceedings or to a journal. Every accepted paper is required to have at least one author to register in full registration before the due day.

Publication

The symposium proceedings will be published by Springer-Verlag in series of Smart Innovation, Systems and Technologies. Selected papers will be invited to some special issues of journals. Best papers will be awarded.
